SCIENCE GENERATES DEVELOPMENT
The Science Generates Development project, of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences (ABC), is a scientific dissemination initiative created in 2017 aimed at bringing science closer to Brazilian society.
Through short animations, with simple language, the videos present the trajectories of outstanding scientists and the results of their research that generated concrete impacts on the social, economic and technological development of the country.
By highlighting how investment in science translates into direct benefits for the population, the initiative seeks to value scientific research, strengthen scientific culture, and contribute to public awareness of the strategic role of science in national development.
